Description
SunTrust Bank is currently seeking a Savings and Money Market Product Manager. The position is located in Atlanta, GA.
The Savings and Money Market Product Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the successful launch and ongoing management of SunTrust's consumer savings and money market product line.
The executive will have P&L ownership and be responsible for working closely with the Segment Managers to effectively position his/her products within the bundles offered to consumers. The Product Manager will work with sales, marketing, finance, support functions, and alternative channels to manage product development, product sales strategies, portfolio pricing, and promotions to ensure balance, revenue, account, and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Seven years related experience in product management OR line experience working with products. Professional communication skills. Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Ability to gather and synthesize ideas in developing and managing products. Strong financial analysis, Project management.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing.
Job Specific Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years experience in retail banking or credit card space as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
· Demonstrated success defining and launching innovative and successful products
· Expertise in understanding and directing analysis of consumer behaviors, such as buying factors and drivers of satisfaction, related to financial services products
· Proven ability to use data analytics, research and testing methodologies to drive business decisions
· Strong financial analysis skills
· Proven ability to manage large projects with cross-functional teams without formal authority while delivering exceptional results within deadlines
· Outstanding written, oral communication skills suitable for senior executive level presentations
Preferred Experience:
· P&L ownership and portfolio management experience for multi-billion dollar product line
· Experience with consumer deposit products and related customer groups
· Experience in large retail bank setting managing product and marketing strategies while working across the organization
· Top tier management consulting experience or equivalent
Education, Certifications and Licenses:
BA/BS in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
