The Senior Vice President position will be responsible for overall group management for the Global Billing and Operations Accounting departments, servicing all cash and trade products globally. Strong leadership is required to monitor and manage the operational processes, with heavy emphasis on accuracy of statements, mitigation of revenue leakages, daily reconcilements and world class customer service to client’s & internal business partners. Proofing/reconcilement break identification and escalation to resolution to safeguard bank assets is required. As this function will be the leader for each region’s strategy and execution, strong communication skills are a key component.
Candidates must have full working knowledge and experience in Operational process management, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) flow & reporting, Interbank Compensation, Vendor management, Project management, Accounting postings, System-system reconcilement, Incident/Problem management, Process re-engineering and people management.
Group Manager responsibilities are carried out across a team encompassing 30 managers and staff, as well as remote management / staff of off-shore teams. Strong people management experience, understanding of all function details and risk points, and solid communication skills are needed to interact with Senior Leaders across Product, Sales, Relationship, Compliance, Operations, and Technical teams globally. Daily leadership of teams through process improvements, automation, and control enhancements required. ','!*!Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree, military, or equivalent experience (MBA preferred)
•8 years of management experience and 5 years’ experience in operational process management
•Strong leadership capabilities
•Strong ability to develop clear strategies, set direction and deliver results
•Excellent interpersonal and superior verbal & written communication skills
•Experience in supporting a wide-range of internal/external clients (product, sales, client delivery, technology, compliance, legal)
•Strong people management experience to include performance/goal management, and compensation review process.
•Experience with identification of control deficiencies with strong illustration of implementing appropriate procedures
to mitigate any customer service risk, revenue leakages or operational losses in addition to ensuring Global Billing and Operations Accounting Departments meet all audit and control requirements
•Project management of multiple high priority visible projects: Appropriately leverage and allocate necessary resources to ensure all projects within the departments are on target, budget and being managed effectively
•Ability to continue transformation of a production shop to a Revenue Management unit managing the successful delivery of high volume metrics and critical reporting
• Identification of opportunity to implement process improvements, service/technology enhancements while managing vendor relationships, both from a strategic management and decision making perspective. This is inclusive but not limited to robotics solutions
•Proven expense management experience in meeting target financial/head count targets
• Strong influencing skills in pushing operational agendas with cross-organizational partners.
