How You Can Make an Impact\u00A0We are looking for an experienced FX trader to join our team. You will join a collaborative environment that integrates trading, quantitative research, and technology. You will join the desk responsible for the execution of the group\u2019s FX trading strategies. This individual will be working directly with our trading, data analysis, sales, and development teams to improve our FX strategies.\u00A0Our goal is to become one of the top non-bank liquidity providers, and the candidate who fills this role will be instrumental in reaching this goal. This person will monitor trading activity and propose enhancements to existing strategies.\u00A0A successful candidate will exhibit strong technical skills, the ability to stay focused on the ever-changing global markets and to work successfully within a team environment. \u00A0Develop, maintain, and enhance FX trading strategiesHelp define processes to provide accurate pricing to multiple venues with different order flowsManage the risk of positions generated throughout the dayWork with overnight traders to ensure success of the modelsAnalyze the performance of the trading system and client order flowsPrioritize trading objectives and document any new trading strategiesWork with the software development team to oversee and deploy new crude oil and distillate strategies What You'll Need\u00A0Bachelor\u2019s degree requiredMinimum of 4 years\u2019 successful experience in a similar role in the trading industryExpert command of FX markets fundamentalsDemonstrable solid profitability recordProven ability to develop and successfully execute trading / hedging strategies based on market analysisStrong leadership and work ethic, exceptional organizational and analytical skillsProfessional presence and strong interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, results driven, and having the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining good judgmentExperience trading on proprietary trading systemsProgramming experience is preferred, but not required Who We Are Geneva Trading LLC is a global principal trading firm founded in 1999 with offices in Chicago and Dublin.
