TRADES WORKER III
Public Buildings/Waterfront Facilities Department -
Trades - Public Buildings Division - This position will work in conjunction with other trades professionals to perform duties such as drywall hanging/patch/repair, painting, rough carpentry, floor plan layout, etc. of office space and general construction and maintenance of City-owned buildings. This position will require heavy lifting and carrying of supplies needed for jobs. The applicant must possess a willingness to assist and learn different operations of the Public Buildings Division and a dedication to getting the job done in an effective and efficient manner . Necessary Special Requirements:
Successful candidate must possess a valid Class B driver's license, must have and maintain a good driving record, must undergo pre-employment fitness assessment and pass a federally mandated drug test. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check, as well as a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) background check and Department of Education background check. This position will participate in winter operations. Starting pay rate is $779.20/week.
