Environment Prime Services, a division of SG Global Markets, offers multi-asset global agency execution services, clearing services for exchange traded swaps and derivatives, and securities prime brokerage to a broad client base comprised of hedge funds, Commodity Trading Advisors, asset managers, pension funds, endowments, financial institutions, broker dealers, and proprietary trading groups. Prime Services provides clients a comprehensive set of products and services that include voice execution, direct market access, clearing, financing, and reporting. The Clearing Collateral Management desk within Prime Services is responsible for the protection and investment \/ placement of customer assets including cash and non-cash collateral. Mission \u2022\u00a0Accountable for full adherence and compliance with the investment policies which includes CFTC rule 1.25 and SEC Rule 15c3-3 on all customer assets deposited as a result of FCM and Securities prime brokerage activities \u2022\u00a0Responsible for the protection and investment \/ placement of customer cash and non-cash collateral in full collaboration with Treasury, Operations and Finance departments including immediate escalation of any regulatory, operational or trading issues \u2022\u00a0Optimize customer cash and non-cash collateral across external and internal counterparties, fixed income reverse repo trading, CCPs, banks and carrying brokers with expectations to meet performance targets \u2022\u00a0Manage borrowings from Treasury including optimizing placements \/ investments and returns \u2022\u00a0Execute forex hedging to support single currency margining product \u2022\u00a0Ensure adherence to trading risks (DV10, VaR, stress testing) in collaboration with the Risk management department \u2022\u00a0Evaluate and analyze market conditions, regulations and financial information to identify investment opportunities \u2022\u00a0Responsible to analyze data from multiple sources, prepare and distribute reports as well as to automate \/ simplify processes as needed \u2022\u00a0Manage scarce resources including balance sheet, RWAs, leverage, LCR, NSFR in collaboration with the Prime Service Client Pricing Team \u2022\u00a0Work closely with Prime Services sales and product teams on pricing clients interest rates, collateral policies and funding requirements to support their businesses \u2022\u00a0Participate in CCP and exchange collateral meetings Profile Technical Skills: \u2022\u00a0Understanding of trading and risks related to fixed income, equity and foreign exchange markets, as well as money markets, government securities and repo \/ reverse repo investments \u2022\u00a0Strong analytical skills, diligent and detailed orientated \u2022\u00a0Robust mathematics and technology skills Competencies: \u2022\u00a0Highly collaborative \u2013 an open individual who can work successfully with multi-disciplinary, multi-national teams \u2022\u00a0Self-motivated high-achiever driven to exceed expectations, with the highest personal standards in regards to integrity and confidentiality \u2022\u00a0Demonstrated ability to build relationships within a large organization and partner with sales, traders and structuring teams to be able identify P&L generating opportunities and to maximize team productivity \u2022\u00a0Strong communication skills \u2013 articulate and able to communicate clearly with management and regulators Qualifications: Experience Needed: \u2022\u00a05-7 years of experience in a global bank, Future Commission Merchants (FCMs) and \/ or Broker Dealers (BDs) \u2022\u00a0Proficiency of regulatory rules (CFTC, SEC, IIROC) governing client asset, in particular the protection of customer assets and all segregation rules (CFTC & SEC) \u2022\u00a0Knowledge of balance sheet (US GAAP, Basel Level) and other scarce resource constraints RWAs, leverage, LCR and NSFR \u2022\u00a0Familiarity of CCP and exchanges practices for exchange traded derivatives and market risk metrics Educational Requirements: \u2022\u00a0Bachelor's degree in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics, a related field or the equivalent thereof.
