Position: GM Trade Processing - Consultant
Dept: Client - Trade Processing
The objective of this position is to liaise between Infrastructure, Client and Development teams for facilitating Infrastructure (Hardware & Software) Obsolescence IT initiatives. This entails communicating and managing patching, upgrading, and testing with appropriate technology teams, as well as conveying Infrastructure standard processes, procedures and initiative.

Work directly with Infrastructure teams (Windows, DBA's Linux, etc.), developers, and Client.
Understanding of infrastructure, technology and services (OS: Windows, Unix and Linux, Database: Oracle, SQL, Sybase; Storage: NAS/SAN/back up Storage, Network & Telecom, Monitoring suites, Capacity Management)
Understanding of Governance (Audit, IT Security)
Understanding of network topology and components.
Knowledge of application flows and their interdependencies.
Strong project management, coordination, and documentation skills.
Prepared to take ownership and work with team(s) to resolve production related upgrades and tasks.
Good knowledge of performance management and capacity planning.
Proficient presentation skills.
Knowledge of Global Markets
Familiarity with ITIL concepts
Coordinates support, administration, and engineering of the relevant Infrastructure and services associated; hardware, OS platforms, storage, network connectivity, database, middleware )
implements Infrastructure related projects to ensure progression and timely completion for Trade processing unit. Provide clear status reporting and escalation when applicable.
Interact with application support and development teams to gather requirements. Work with Infrastructure system engineers to design and deploy solutions.
Ensure projects are implemented in line with IT Security and Infrastructure standards and policies.
Liaises with Infrastructure, Client, and Development teams to determine requirements.
Responsible for the coordination of all teams involved in the project, as well as scheduling, patching, and post testing, adhering to schedules and communicating progress.
Interface with vendors and internal technical teams to ensure the environment conforms to the current standards.
Ensure system reliability, availability and resiliency levels meet requirements.
