About The Role

We are now looking for dynamic Trade Sales

Assistant to join our Marketing team. As the Trade Sales Assistant

you will be right in the heart of the magic, assisting and working with innovative thinkers to ensure the day-to-day smooth operation of our Marketing department.


Sales & Marketing

Focus areas may include Corporate Meetings/Events, Corporate/Hotel Consignment, Travel and Tourism, Shuttle Program, and Schools

Develops/cultivates/maintains sales relationships with all sales sources to increase volume/revenue/profits, solicits/negotiates/books new/repeat business through inside sales/telemarketing/emails/mailings/referrals/networking/etc. for all program activities and coordinates the production of sales/communications materials designed to develop new group business.

Managing sales, communication and promotions Corporate/Local Trade accounts and Group ticket sales. Meeting & exceeding monthly and annual sales goals.

Adopts an enthusiastic, assertive and passionate approach to Customer Service, and demonstrates the Group values at every opportunity. All around team player who is effective with communication & organization


The Sales Assistant meets/greets/assists groups by coordinating all on-site program activities, enters reservations into the ticketing system and maintains/updates reservations.

Send booking contracts to client, ensuring signed contracts and payment are collected prior to the date of the event or visit.

Answer incoming calls and making advanced bookings, as well as coordinating group arrivals with the Operations Team.

Report weekly and monthly performance to the Marketing Manager to ensure all activity is integrated with the overall attraction strategies.

Contract negotiation, organization and execution

General administrative functions

Trade show participation, when planned & scheduled, as necessary


Prepares reports to provide to management, ensures credit applications are reviewed/ approved and raises purchase orders/ensure spending is accurately reported and invoices are reconciled to purchase orders.


Maintains/updates association listings, fee deadlines and trade show dates


Enjoys meeting and partnering with potential clients at various meetings, trade shows, and events. Also delivers excellent guest service for all clients and groups.

Other Duties as Assigned

About You

Minimum of 1-2 years of service industry experience in a visitor attraction, theme park, museum, hotel or theater environment; or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Previous sales experience preferred.

Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi task as necessary.

Extensive knowledge of computer including Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook and Word

Desire to work in fast-paced environments.

Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.


High School School or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
