Your Function:

Originate and grow derivative sales to FI clients in the Americas.

Deep understanding of IRD and FX business.

Responsible for the marketing of derivative products to FI accounts located in the Americas.

Bringing a book of client relationships in line with approved FI strategy paper, excluding existing clients such as Washington based SSA accounts.

Work closely and in tandem with current FI derivatives sales staff to grow the derivatives franchise and provide backup assistance when needed.

Work closely with internal stakeholders-Trading, Relationship Managers, Credit, Legal and Compliance departments to maximize derivatives business with FI’s while acting within all internal frameworks and requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Responsible for the origination, development and maintenance of derivative sales to FI client base.

Bring and pursue new account opportunities in the Americas.

Provide team-building support such as back up assistance, sharing product knowledge and market insight to derivative sales effort.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with affiliated groups including Treasury, RMs, management, credit, MO/BO and related stakeholders.

Meet or exceed all revenue targets and KPIs

Proficiency with onboarding documentation – KYC, ISDA, CSA etc.

Job Skills and Knowledge:

1. Thorough understanding of interest rate derivatives, non-linear derivatives and FX. Structured Notes knowledge a plus but not required; solid working knowledge of ISDA, CSA and other relevant documents needed to execute trades with clients. Ability and understanding to work with operations, credit and market risk management aspects of capital markets.

Essential: Comprehensive understanding of the sales process of derivative instruments

2. Assess and analyze sales situations from all relevant angles to derive business appropriate solutions.

3. Effectively convey all matters of importance to relevant stakeholders. Has skill in giving and receiving information orally and in writing with individuals or groups.

Masters degree in Business Administration / Finance or CFA a plus but not required

7 years of experience in various sales capacities within Capital Markets

Proven Sales relationships and track record of success.

FINRA licenses: 7, 63 preferred but not required
