Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s and typically 6 or more years work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Self-starter able to work complex issues across functional teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and work well in a collaborative environment.
The ability to understand technology and apply regulations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience providing compliance requirements for trade control authorities/export-import licensing
US Trade Control experience
Experience and understanding of ITAR and/or EAR
Ability to comprehend aspects of Commerce & State jurisdiction, classifications, and USG policy related to technology, and international relations.
Acumen to diplomatically exert influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of an organization.
Excel in an environment where first-pass quality of work is expected
Exhibit ability to take basic instructions and situational business requirements such as deadlines, operating parameters, and formatting requirements, and arrange the needed activity to meet those objectives.
