Position Description:
CIB – Investor Services - Agent Lending Portfolio Advisor – Vice President
The Agent Lending Portfolio Advisor is ultimately responsible for all commercial aspects and decisions around their Key Clients’ discretionary lending programs including business development, relationship management, revenue optimization, and performance attribution. They represent JPMorgan Securities Lending at the Client and represent the Client within JPMorgan to ensure that the business is well aligned to deliver on the Client’s current and strategic securities lending agenda
In addition to the Role Overview, the Agent Lending Portfolio Advisor will:
· Be responsible for 5-7 Key Securities Lending Clients
· Understand all contractual obligations for assigned clients and ensure program is operating within those parameters
· Develop and execute an annual strategy plan (updated periodically) with focus on retention, strengthening existing relationship and revenue optimization
· Create and maintain client calling plan involving senior management
· Communicate all market and regulatory developments, identifying potential revenue opportunities and acting in a consultancy/advisory capacity to the client
· Maintain an acute awareness of the client’s requirements in relation to market events and activities
· Lead regular Client Performance Reviews that focus on how revenue was generated in addition to how the associated risks were managed and mitigated; articulate trading strategy and how we have delivered superior value to clients; benchmarking (Markit) where appropriate
· Lead pre-reviews with all relevant internal parties
· Responsible for the production of Client Performance decks, including but not limited to: executive summary, commentary, Markit and other performance benchmarking data, additional performance slides as necessary (outside the core data warehouse performance charts and graphs provided by client service), and final production (printing/binding)
· Periodically review client accounts participating in securities lending, reconciliation of Lending System to Synopses; Communicate updates to Portfolio Analysts as required
· Periodically review client program parameters, specifically any restrictions to lending, to ensure accurate and not impeding revenue optimization; Communicate updates to Portfolio Analysts as required
· Work directly with global agent lending trading and investment desks on revenue optimization opportunities and present them to clients as applicable
· Responsible for maintaining client profitability
· Partner with IS Sales partners to ensure consistent messaging, planning and penetration strategies
· Maintain oversight of the content of the Client Synopses to ensure they accurately reflect the Clients’ desired program construct
· Ensure compliance with Annual Client Communication Policy
· Manage communications/discussions as required by FRISK, including but not limited to mandatory disclosures and investment downgrades
· Work directly with auditors to provide commercial and legal information as approved for release by the client where required
· Ensure all legal documentation and pertinent client correspondence (including required communications and relevant emails) is properly saved on SharePoint and indexed/archived in iVault
· Call memos and reports timely entered in CKC after key meetings and discussions with clients
· Lead periodic Key Client Reviews with securities lending senior management

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
· Flexibility to travel around the region
· Good PowerPoint and Excel knowledge
· Excellent time management skills
· Good knowledge of the Agent Lending product
