Figures as at June 30, 2017 Job Description The main responsibility of the Senior Commodity Trading role is to trade US Energy (Oil) and manage positions, products include: energy derivatives (non-linear and linear). The position requires a senior trader with extensive knowledge and a minimum of 7 year' experience in Energy products. Power knowledge will be a plus. Main responsibilities: Trade US Energy (Oil) , products include: Energy derivatives, non-linear and linear Manage positions Respect limits Ensure competitive pricing. Development of tools if required. Back up to other Energy desks. Liaise with the NY, Houston, London, and Paris sales force to monitor and support commercial development. Coordinate the local implementation of the Commodity business strategy. Support the Trading desk activity. Work closely with Sales teams, especially to monitor the commercial development, by providing accurate prices on their requests, and provide regularly trading ideas and market comments. Review current US Energy product offering and ensure it is in-line with the demands from clients. Work with the Sales team to ensure that appropriate products are proposed to Natixis customers, when applicable. Required Skills\/Qualifications\/Experience Bachelor\u2019s Degree in finance-related or technical discipline 7 years of relevant work experience in Energy (Oil) products required. Demonstrated Pricing and Risk Management skills Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly. A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously is important. Pragmatic approach to problem solving. Mindset of sharing information with team in order to fully develop potential business relationships Solid verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills a must (fluent English speaker).
