Director International Trade Compliance - PVH Corp

Profile

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for monitoring all of the Customs activities related to importation and exportation of PVH merchandise in North America coming from all origin countries where PVH does business.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:

• Manage all customs administrative processes on any imported or exported goods ensuring customs compliance in all areas
• Ensure compliant processing of Customs entries, documentation, CF28s, protests, PEA’s, Prior disclosures, FTA’s, special valuation programs, customs audits/processes, drawbacks etc.
• Oversee procedures for import policy/guidelines/manuals for documentation and regulations for Customs Import/Export.
• Monitor administrative team processes to ensure timely release of goods
• Monitor/report on performance of customhouse brokers at each port of entry
• Monitor activity and performance reports
• Interface directly with CBP regarding any compliance concerns/issues/new programs.
• Monitor responsibilities of internal staff

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience:

• Advanced knowledge & skills with at least 8-15 years of related experience
• Knowledge of International Customs regulations and processes and Strength in Textiles and Wearing apparel

Education:

• Bachelors degree required
• Customs Broker License

• Strong Management and Interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Analytical abilities and precise attention to details
• Ability to focus, multi-task  and meet deadlines
• Excellent leadership ability as this position provides direction to a large team of associates
