Americas Trade Finance is a key unit within the Global Trade Operations, with servicing responsibilities for a group of trade products (Trade Working Capital Finance, Trade Finance including Global Accounts Receivable Finance, supporting several Citigroup businesses. Global Trade Operations offer world class trade services in over 70 markets around the globe. The Tampa-based organization supports North America and Latam clients as initiators of transactions to counterparties in other Global Regions, as well as completing transactions to our clients that emanate from Citigroup branches in other Regions. The Organization provides our corporate clients with transaction preparation, processing and customer service. In striving to achieve high quality delivery the organization works closely with business partners and internal servicers. A significant focus on control, customer service and quality is practiced at the transaction and process levels. TTS Operations creates, promotes and supports products and services to help clients better manage their trade flows and maximize the success of their business. Treasury and Trade NA is a key business in TTS, with a large operational footprint in branches throughout the region.
Description of Role:
Reporting to the NA Trade Finance Group Manager, the NA Ops Trade Finance/TWCF Manager will manage the Trade Operations Activities end-to-end, including client facing issues, oversight of CSIPL Operations, accounting and revenue mapping, as well as reconciliation functions. This position requires the candidate to work remotely with our business partners in New York, Latin America, and EMEA.
Perform and manage all Trade operations activities in the Ops Trade Finance/Trade Working Capital Finance area.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex client issues related to Citi Supplier Finance and Account Receivable Programs.
Manage and approve UAT for new implementations of CSF and GARP.
Understanding and Oversight over Treasury funding and revenue mapping.
Understanding of Credit related process, Line allocations and managing exceptions.
Liaise with multiple Operations and Technology teams to ensure a quality product is delivered to external and internal customers.
Serves as analytical and/or procedural expert representing the unit on cross-functional operational project deliverables.
Resolves complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes.
Leads Ad hoc projects as defined by management.
Leads interaction with Global and Regional Product and Financial Control Heads.
Responsible for the integrity of legal and management books and downstream reporting for Trade to both regulators and business partners.
Reasonable understanding of cost management via budgeting, allocations.
Understanding optimization for process standardization, review of sanction screening exceptions, error reduction.
Has in-depth knowledge of the NA Trade Operations business environment
Recognized as a Liaison among multiple Operations teams
Knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to understand how financial transactions affect the operating systems/GL
Familiarity with the end-to-end Trade transaction lifecycle
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to lead transparently at an advanced level
Strong project, analytical, and investigations skills
Proven ability to present complex ideas, negotiate and influence senior leaders across diverse functions
Highly organized and able to manage resources and delegate workflow

Requirements and Qualifications:
5 years of experience in Trade Operations.
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent in experience, advanced degree preferred.
CSF (Citi Supplier Finance), ARDF, TRIMS, Tampa General Ledger experience preferred.
