The Capital Markets Technology team develops and supports the trading platform for Client , Financial Advisors and Trading Desks activities. These applications deliver a wide range of functionality which include: client order capture, notifications, reporting (Risk/P&L), order management, real-time market data, trading, execution and risk calculation. The Capital Markets business provides clients access to multiple assets classes (Equity, Equity options, Corporate, Agencies, Munis, FX, Futures, Repos, Precious metals etc..).
The team has embarked on a multi-year strategic project to provide a scalable feature-rich platform aimed to help the business grow.
We are looking for a hands-on technical lead to join our team. The candidate would be responsible for the development of the Trading and Order Routing functions for this strategic project. The solutions will be developed using state of the art technologies and software development techniques.
Skills Required:
The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
3 years Hands-on technical experience delivering solutions using
3 Java and C# including: OO Design and Programming, Distributed Architecture Design.
2 years strong experience in the design and development of 2 relational database management systems (Sybase, DB2a or SQL Server).
2 years experience with scripting language (preferably Python 2 and/or 2 PERL) and strong experience with Unix/Linux (shell scripting).
2 Years experience in leading a development team.
Development experience working with mixture of new and legacy systems.
Development experience in working with large volumes of data.
Experience with multithreaded programming and concurrency.
Excellent Communication skills.
Skills Desired:
Financial services experience is preferred
