The Derivatives Analyst will work closely with our derivatives traders to provide market surveillance, pre-trade analysis, trade entry and position reporting.
•Pre-trade analysis and modeling.
•Position reporting and ad-hoc risk analysis and project work.
•Monitoring risk, positions and P&L.
•Trade entry into our risk systems.
•Composing weekly market commentary.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering, Science or Business as well as any other related field of expertise strongly preferred
•0 – 2 years of work experience with Derivatives. •Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
•Self-starter with interest and ability to learn a variety of Derivative products.
•Ability to prioritize, embrace a steep learning curve, and seek out responsibility.
•Programming skills a plus (SQL, VBA).
