Job Description: The Old Forester Distillery is an interactive, consumer experience designed to showcase the craftsmanship and authenticity of Old Forester, America\u2019s first bottled bourbon. We will give our consumers a look into how Old Forester comes to life and each team member will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and authenticity of this experience as they interact with our consumers throughout their visit to our Homeplace. Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating, orchestrating and booking the trade and VIP groups visiting the Old Forester Distillery. In addition, supports the Master Distiller with tastings, private tours and flavor wheel tastings. Works closely with Brown-Forman meeting planning staff, sales and marketing organizations, as well as, other Old Forester Distillery staff members. Responsibilities & Duties: Responsible for the trade\/distributor\/VIP guests while on property, including private tours and\/or tastings and flavor wheel presentations. Manage Personal Selection and By the Barrel program for the visitors while at the Old Forester Distillery ensuring premium experience, as aligned with the Old Forester brand. Provides marketing support to the Master Distiller and Master Taster as needed, to care for specific guests (trade, distributor, etc). Coordinate, orchestrate and book groups in event system and provide premium experience to these specific brand customers while visiting the Old Forester Distillery experience. Work with guest services as needed for coordination of tours and staff as hosting relates to visitor tour program. Works closely with Brown-Forman event planners to coordinate trade and barrel selection groups visiting the distillery. Must Requirements: Education: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in related field and minimum 3-5 years in the hospitality, and\/or meeting planning; or appropriate combination of education and experience. Required Experience: Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external agencies\/guests. Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal employees as well as external business partners. Strong personal initiative; champions business plans. Action oriented; responds in a timely and effective manner to business issues and opportunities. Highly organized; capable of meeting multiple deadlines and juggling multiple projects.
