This position is based in Tukwila, Washington. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. GTC is a function within Boeing that provides internal organizations with global regulatory requirements, implements internal controls for trade control compliance, directs trade control activity and acts as Boeing's liaison with government agencies for trade control requirements.Responsibilities may include:The TCS will develop and manage trade control authorizations (to include ITAR and EAR licensing). Support initiatives to strengthen internal procedures and processes. Combine multiple elements of Global Trade Control requirements into an enterprise-wide approach, and work with Boeing teams to develop strategic trade control solutions that ensure compliance and enable the business to achieve its goals. Collaborate with subject matter experts and business partners to develop concepts, write/review white papers, and coordinate technical responses to inquiries on trade control issues in support of the company's position. Identify documents, develop and deploy regulatory documentation for high profile and/or precedent setting activity with significant business risk and/or sensitive policy issues involving industry partners, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and multiple regulatory agencies.Monitor trends in government, industry, and technology and recommend approaches. ','!*!A bachelor's degree is required, and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, or a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. The following is required: • Experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). • Experience preparing export license applications or other trade control documentation. • Experience with Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Demonstrated experience supporting multi-country, military derivative programs is highly desired. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate problem solving capability by developing solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policy. Conduct one's self in a professional manner in business settings to include representing the GTC organization on internal teams, interacting with peers and senior internal and external leaders, and addressing significant matters often requiring coordination among organizations.
