Americas Trade Services is a key unit within the Global Trade Operations, with servicing responsibilities for a group of several trade products (documentary LC, Collections and Standby LC families) and Latin America, supporting several Citigroup businesses. Global Trade Operation offers world class trade services in over 70 markets around the globe. The Tampa-based organization supports North America and LATAM clients as initiators of transactions to counterparties in other Global Regions, as well as completing transactions to our clients that emanate from Citigroup branches or foreign banks in other Regions. The Organization provides our corporate and FI clients with transaction preparation, processing and customer service. In striving to achieve high quality delivery the organization works closely with business partners and internal servicers. A significant focus on control, customer service and quality is practiced at the transaction and process levels.
This position will preform LATAM Trade Finance and supplier Finance Transaction Processing.
LATAM Trade Finance Transaction Processing
Follow through with timely UAT & PVT testing and technology troubleshooting
Transparent & effective communication with business partners (branches/tech support/etc.)
Create and implement timelines, communications, trackers, presentations & methodology
Validation of activation and initiation documentation received and approved
Identify and communicate areas of risk detected during activation to Sr. Mgmt
Communicate effectively with technology support teams when system issues occur
Support Stakeholder/ Senior Management presentations
Provide internal training on platforms and processes as needed
LATAM Supplier Finance Transaction Processing
Support on LATAM Supplier Finance Buyer/Supplier activations. Provide transactional processing support for LATAM Supplier Finance product
Daily Management of in-process, pended & service related activities, ensuring high quality processing service to our customers and internal partners
Responsible to ensure a smooth, error free process flow
Perform within departmental procedures & compliance standards in order to minimize losses to the Firm.
Execute moderate to complex transactions
Assist with approval processing in the unit, assist with special reports & projects as needed
Internal Process Enhancements
Identify, initiate and execute process improvements
Create and/or approve procedures to support process enhancements
Focus on controls, customer service and quality
Ensure risk is accounted for, considered and approved 4. Integration of new products
Support Senior Project Manager by understanding the product, identifying strategic partners, ensuring legal and product needs are fulfilled
Track project timeline and budget
Provide updates and metrics
Process flow and organize roles and responsibilities

Bachelor's Degree preferred..

systems a plus: CitiDirect, CACLS, OFS-Web, Flexcube, Basic Cosmos, Cosmos II, Paylink and Supplier Finance platforms 10am to 7pm EST working schedule required
