PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As an experienced Global Trade Operations and Compliance Subject Matter Expert (GTOC SME), you will assist with a Cross-Border project, providing support during the pre-transition phase of the transformation. You will utilize your thorough understanding of current and evolving global trade regulations and practices, along with a deep understanding and knowledge of Cross Border Project scope and detailed processes knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Serve as liaison between the Business, Process Consultants and the Transformation Management Office to facilitate the fit / gap analysis, capture risks, and create a plan for solutioning
Use knowledge and expertise of end-to-end cross border processes to understand interdependencies between teams and ensure integration across process areas
Work closely with the Process and Knowledge Transfer work stream leads to identify requirements to support design and implementation of processes
Support the creation of local maps, SOPs, job aids and other processes documentation by providing deep expertise and knowledge on cross border activities
Participate in the validation and approval of process maps and other related documentation developed by Process Consultants
Solve specific process design queries related to cross border work
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience Preferred: An advanced degree in specialization
Strong background in Manufacturing & Import/Exports
Strong understanding current and evolving global trade regulations and practices
Expertise of end-to-end cross border processes to understand inter-dependencies between teams and ensure integration across process areas
