This is a multi-level position with level placement dependent upon the skills and experience of the candidate.The Associate Trading Operations Analyst/Trading Operations Analyst is responsible for multi-function operation processes for ER&T with a focus on Continuous Improvement. This position, reporting to the Manager u2013 Trading Operations, is cross-trained in all group functions and will serve as support for ER&T Trading Operations.**General Responsibilities:** Responsible for preparing, reviewing and maintaining the data, process information, associated reports and analysis of related energy trading activities. Interact with ER&T and dedicated support functions to ensure cross functional process, control, and dependencies are documented. Maintain internal applications, reports, and tools used for the performance of Trading Operations activities such as trader limit monitoring tool, SharePoint, Aligne (Deal Capture System), Open Exchange Position tool and/or other related applications. Work with key internal and external partners. These partners include internal/external audit, senior management, corporate continuous Improvement and other group functions outside of ER&T. Assist with ER&u2019Ts Green Belt projects that would require monitoring, tracking and reporting project status for identified areas of improvement. Research trade issues and identify problem, proactively resolve and partner with colleagues to seek long term sustainable solutions process. **Continuous Improvement** Manage ER&Tu2019s process improvement initiatives from identification to completion. Assist the business in prioritization of projects to ensure successful communication and completion of the process Improvement portfolio. Challenge the status quo and guide teams in the identification of improvement opportunities. **Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)** Partner with internal/external departments to ensure effective control measures are in place and recommend streamlines improvements and efficiencies when necessary. Participate as required in strategic planning activities to ensure the internal control assessment process is addressing key business and financial risks. Ensure timely completion of critical SOX activities/deliverables, including process documentation updates, responses to control testing and remediation. Depth of understanding of issues encountered through testing, the associates risks and impact of those risks.Basic Qualifications u2013 Associate Trading Operations Analyst: Bacheloru2019s Degree One year experience in a trading environment, internal auditing, compliance/process improvements, or with regulatory reportingBasic Qualifications u2013 Trading Operations Analyst: Bacheloru2019s Degree Two to five yearsu2019 experience in a trading environment, internal auditing, compliance/process improvements or with regulatory reportingRequired Competencies: Strong understanding of physical and financial energy commodity trades. Strong ability to work independently. Must be a self-starter; possess good planning, organization, and communication skills. Effectively work with stakeholders with differing opinions and with cross-functional teams to support ER&T business. and operational objectivities. Solid understanding of front, middle, and back office business and operational risks impacting an energy marketing function. Proficient in handling multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
