Customer Trade Analyst is a value-added customer and field sales facing role – serving as single point of contact for all financial components of customer promotional/merchandising payment and accounts receivable activities. Responsible for all major facets of customer promotional payment and financial activity; must use continuous improvement and root cause analysis to enhance promotional planning, customer behavior, and direct global processes to improve reconciliation flows.
Position works closely with General Mills sales teams, General Mills global financial team, and customer personnel to ensure accuracy and ease of transactions, while continually improving process efficiencies and building strong business relationships.
Act as lead point of contact for General Mills US Retail sales, sales finance and global financial service team – representing customer promotional payments and accounts receivable process for a specific account or group of accounts.
Influential communication- across a matrixed organization - direct, govern and guide customer promotional payment and financial reconciliation processes to achieve key business objectives.
Analyze, provide insight and drive action across multiple General Mills functions to deliver business results:
Field Sales Promotional Planning, Customer Promotional Payments, Invalid Customer Charges, Trial Balance, Accounts Receivable, Rebate Programs
: Direct Customer/s of General Mills, General Mills Field Sales and Sales Finance personnel, General Mills Global Financial service team
Continuous Improvement – Bring forward ideas to increase effectiveness in the complete promotional planning to customer payment and accounts receivable cycle. Influence stakeholders to adopt new procedures.
Governance – As process owner, ensure adherence to internal policies, Sarbanes Oxley controls, audit requirements
Bachelors degree required
2 years of relevant experience
